As old age or disability approaches, one’s key concerns turn to issues surrounding health, independence and increasing reliance on others. Godswell Park provides reassurance that such concerns need not inhibit one’s quality of life.
Our purpose-built care home with nursing is situated in over 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with pleasant views in the charming and active village of Bloxham, between Banbury and Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Situated just off Church Street in the centre of the village, Godswell Park is only five miles from Junction 11 of the M40 motorway between London and Birmingham. Within easy walking distance of the front of the home can be found various medical services including the local GP surgery, dental practice and complementary therapy centre, whilst at the rear attractive walks, paved terraces and extensive lawns with rural views provide a tranquil and relaxing environment.
The village itself contains a number of shops and well regarded public houses, a museum, tea room and post office and there are various places of worship close by, all of which contribute to a lively village atmosphere.
At Godswell Park we believe that the fact that one has reached retirement or the need for care does not signify the end of independence. We celebrate the individuality of our residents by tailor-making our service to the specific needs, requirements and wishes of each and every one. Our service emanates from and revolves around our residents, whose wellbeing is paramount, rather than being designed to offer a uniform product for operational ‘efficiency’.
Whether you need constant nursing care or simply find that the time has come to take life easier we believe that Godswell Park will provide a level of care, security and companionship unlikely to be found elsewhere.
